BAFTA TV Awards 2024 are beaten in the ratings war by Britain's Got Talent and Countryfile as its peak audience drops for the first time in two years from 3.8 million to 3 million


But the ceremony itself failed to come out on top in the battle of the ratings, as it was only the fifth most watched programme.
