BAFTA host Rob Beckett's secret health battle that almost ended in tragedy - 'I wanted to die'


As comedian Rob Beckett co-hosted the BAFTA TV Awards with Romesh Ranganathan this year the funnyman has opened up about his mental health struggles in the past

His podcast's success soared, and he even landed a role in the blockbuster Disney movie Cinderella, starring with Camila Cabello and Idina Menzel. He admitted, "That would have killed me before I sorted my head out," but also revealed that taking on the role post-pandemic was a joy rather than a fear-driven task: "But it was one of the first jobs after the pandemic I took on when I wasn't being driven by fear - and I loved it."
