Bad Bunny is on to his next movie adventure, joining Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2 — the sequel to the cult-classic sports comedy film released in 1996 — The Hollywood Reporter revealed Tuesday (Sept. 10). The artist born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio made his acting debut in 2021 as Arturo “Kitty” Paez — a rich, well-connected kid who gets involved in the cartel life — for the drug-dealing drama Narcos: México on Netflix. The original Happy Gilmore follows the story of a failed hockey player who discovers a talent for golf and competes in paid tournaments to earn money to prevent the foreclosure of his beloved grandmother’s house.
