Bésame Mucho Festival Canceled, Promoters Cite ‘Circumstances Beyond Our Control’
The Los Angeles iteration of the Shakira-headlined Bésame Mucho Festival, originally set for the end of December, has been canceled.
The Latin music festival Besamé Mucho — originally set to be headlined by acts including Shakira, Pitbull and Los Tigres del Norte at Dodger Stadium on Dec. 21 — will not be taking place, promoters confirmed Monday. The one-day festival was also set to include appearances from Juanes, Gloria Trevi, Elvis Crespo, Paulina Rubio, Los Tucanes de Tijuana and more. It will return to Austin at Circuit of the Americas racing track next April with Peso Pluma, Carin León, Los Tigres del Norte and Tito Doble P as headliners.
