Blige on the 1989 World Tour and remarked, “Taylor reminds me a lot of Cher.” Blige recently recalled how Swift personally invited her to sing “Family Affair” at the Staples Center in 2015, telling People that the duet was entirely the Eras Tour headliner’s idea. Banks’ words are notable considering how many artists she definitely doesn’t respect, with the rapper earning a reputation for bickering with other stars online — Grimes and Matty Healy, to name a couple recent examples — over the years.
