Ayra Starr Reunites With Wizkid on ‘Gimme Dat’ Collab: Stream It Now
Ayra Starr linked up with Wizkid again on "Gimme Dat," which she released on Thursdsay (April 24).
The Sabi Girl teased the collaboration a week earlier in an Instagram video of her vibing out to the tropical-tinged dancefloor filler while watching the sunset before the song cuts to Wizkid singing, “God da–,” which Starr used as the clip’s caption. Starr and Wiz first collaborated on “2 Sugar” from the latter’s 2022 More Love, Less Ego album, which was nominated for best Afrobeats at the 2023 MTV VMAs (in the category’s inaugural year); her 2022 hit single “Rush” was also up for the same award. “Gimme Dat” is her second single of 2025, following “All The Love” in February, and his first musical release since his sixth studio album Morayo, which came out last November via Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records.
