Ayo Edebiri hosted Saturday Night Live but made a cameo during the cold open to confront Nikki Haley. Back in December, Haley was asked during a New Hampshire town hall what the reason was for the Civil War in the U.S. but never mentioned the word slavery in her response. After backlash, Haley walked back her comments during an interview on the Good Morning New Hampshire radio show, saying, “Of course, the Civil War was about slavery.”
