Avantika Signs With UTA (EXCLUSIVE)
UTA has signed 'Mean Girls' and 'Tarot' actor Avantika for representation in all areas.
The film from SpenserCohen and Anna Halberg follows a group of college friends who begin to mysteriously die after using a cursed deck of tarot cards. In 2021, she was named to Variety’ s Young Hollywood “Up Next” list after starring as Rhea Kumar in “Spin,” the first Disney Channel Original Movie featuring an Indian American lead. “It was important to me to play characters that show Indians,” Avantika said at the time of the movie, which centers around a teen who discovers a love for remixing music that blends East and West.
