Ava Max Asks Fans to Stop Leaking Her Music: ‘Respect My Art’

Ava Max wrote about how much the leaks of her music has affected her over the last few years after several demos appeared online this week.

On Thursday morning, the pop star shared a post asking fans to “respect my art” and quit leaking her records and demos. Most of Max’s second album, Diamonds & Dancefloors, leaked online in early October, shortly after she pushed the LP release back to January of the following year. Max released a handful of songs in 2024, including “Whatever,” which sampled Shakira’s “Whenever, Wherever,” solo single “My Oh My,” and September’s “Spot a Fake.” She also joined David Guetta to reimagine Alphaville’s “Forever Young.”
