Australian Animation ‘Lesbian Space Princess’ Lands at Blue Finch Films Ahead of Berlinale Bow (EXCLUSIVE)


Blue Finch Films nabbed worldwide rights to the feature, about a space princess rescuing her bounty hunter ex-girlfriend from Straight White Maliens.

The debut feature from Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese follows a sheltered space princess who embarks on a galactic mission to rescue her bounty hunter ex-girlfriend from the Straight White Maliens. Umbrella Entertainment has already locked down rights for Australia and New Zealand, with Blue Finch set to launch international sales at Berlin’s European Film Market. Our amazing cast and crew poured so much love and hard work into this project, and we can’t wait for it to premiere on the big screen at Berlinale,” said directors Hough Hobbs and Varghese in a statement.
