Australian actress Tilda Cobham-Hervey's heartbreak as her legendary dancer mother Roz dies aged 59 at home from Voluntary Assisted Dying
Australian actress Tilda Cobham-Hervey's beloved mother Roz died last month age 59, through Voluntary Assisted Dying, following a two-year battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
The veteran performer chose to end her life at home in early November through South Australia's Voluntary Assisted Dying laws, rather than continue struggling with her debilitating disease, reports Adelaide Now. To qualify, a person must have consulted a medical practitioner and demonstrated their disease is incurable, advanced and progressive, is causing an immense amount of pain and would have likely led to their death within 12 months. The performer instilled a passion for the arts in her children, with her daughter Tilda being a popular film and TV actress, who has appeared in productions such as The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, Hotel Mumbai and Lone Wolf.
