Australia’s Nine Entertainment Reshuffles Exec Ranks, Sets $31 Million Cost-Cutting Target
Nine Entertainment announces major restructure into three divisions, appoints ex-Foxtel exec Amanda Laing to lead streaming and broadcast unit.
Publishing chief Tory Maguire will see her portfolio expand to include nine.com.au alongside the company’s prestigious mastheads The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review. Meanwhile, Alex Parsons will oversee the new marketplaces division, which includes Domain and Drive, while maintaining his chief digital officer responsibilities. “Our new approach will better position the business to manage the challenging external environment and ensure the company is future-fit to sustainably deliver for our consumers, partners, shareholders and people.”
