Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber were first linked in December 2021 after attending a yoga class together
Butler and Gerber continued to grow close throughout 2022 and the Dune 2 actor even joined his girlfriend’s family for a new-New Year’s getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, that December. Gerber opted to skip the Academy Awards in March 2023, but she reunited with Butler that evening to attend the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Los Angeles. Butler told Access Hollywood at the time that Kaia not only “approves” of the cropped blazer and double-pleated trousers that he wore for the premiere, but she actually picked out his red carpet ensemble.
