To secure tickets, Khiara had to convince her shocked mother Jodie to give her blessing to miss the funeral, which is expected to take place in Adelaide on Friday at 1pm ACDT (1:30pm AEDT). Taylor was promptly escorted to her accommodation after her 12 hour flight, where she will rest until she takes to the stage in front of 85,000 screaming fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday.
