Aussie soap legend Brian Wenzel, best known for his portrayal of Frank Gilroy in the hit show A Country Practice, has died at the age of 94, as his heartbroken wife confirms news

Australian soap legend Brian Wenzel has died aged 94, after a career in television spanning 75 years.The star found fame after playing Frank Gilroy on A Country Practice in 1981. Woman's Day magazine reported: "Brian's wife of almost 70 years, Linda, phoned this morning to relay the news of his passing, saying he died peacefully."
