Aura Entertainment Buys Wayfarer Studios’ Action Comedy ‘Code 3,’ Starring Rainn Wilson, Lil Rel Howery and Aimee Carrero (EXCLUSIVE)
Aura Entertainment has set 'Code 3,' starring Rainn Wilson, Lil Rel Howery & Aimee Carrero, from Wayfarer Studios, for theatrical release in September.
Joining Wilson, Howery and Carrero for the “adrenaline-fueled thrill ride,” characterized by “heart, humor, and high-stakes action” is an ensemble cast including Rob Riggle and Yvette Nicole Brown. Andrew Calof, president of production for Wayfarer Studios, described partnering with Aura as an “incredible experience,” adding, “They’re truly ahead of the curve in today’s ever-evolving distribution landscape, and their innovative approach aligns perfectly with our vision.” Producers for “Code 3” are Matt Smith, for Electro Corduroy Entertainment, and Lawrence Mattis, for Circle of Confusion, as well as Wayfarer Studios’ Justin Baldoni and Calof, and Realdream’s Paul “Pizza” Pianezza.
