Aubrey Plaza Requested Welfare Check on Jeff Baena Months Before His Death
Aubrey Plaza asked a friend to check on late husband Jeff Baena after he made concerning remarks shortly following their separation
According to the medical examiner’s report obtained by Us Weekly, Plaza, 40, said she had a friend check on Baena’s well-being in October 2024, one month after they quietly separated. While the actress has not further addressed Baena’s death or their split, she seemingly paid homage to her late husband during an appearance at the SNL 50 anniversary special. During a December 2021 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Plaza recalled how she and Baena spent their quarantine together and detailed their impromptu decision to tie the knot.
