Aubrey Plaza opens up about her history of playing outsiders after growing up feeling 'like an alien'


Aubrey Plaza admitted to relating to many of the quirky and stranger characters that she has played over the years as someone who grew up feeling 'different.'

In her latest interview, the 39-year-old Golden Globe nominee opened up about her history of playing outsiders, her upcoming film Megalopolis and her jammed-packed schedule She credited a lot of her family members like her late uncle, who was an artist that ran a salsa dancing and made films, and great-grandmother, who was a flamenco dancer, for inspiring her. Plaza, who is staying busy with recent roles in the hit series The White Lotus and the film Emily the Criminal, explained that she was intentionally keeping her schedule packed and 'striking while the iron is hot.'
