Atom Egoyan Reveals ‘The Captive’ Cannes Trauma; TV Regrets & Plans For Literary Adaptation

The paedophilia thriller, starring Reynolds as a man dealing with the disappearance of his nine-year-old daughter, was widely panned by the Cannes critics corps when it world premiered in competition in 2014.
