Asian and European film associations seek common ground at Cannes, Jay van Hoy joins Through the Lens Entertainment.
Topics included: dialog on policy and regulations; the development of the film industry in both regions; and addressing new media and challenges ahead. Filmmaker Jay Van Hoy(“American Honey,” “The Witch”) is joining pan-Asian film company Through The Lens Entertainment, as its chief producing officer, to set up a new collective of behind the camera talent, and bring a new way of thinking and a modern eco system to film production. Among its current projects and set for an August start of production in Thailand is the Deepa Mehta-directed serial killer film “Troilokya.”
