Ashley Park, the Broadway and Emily in Paris star who recently had a pivotal role in the hit, Emmy-winning Netflix series Beef, revealed today that she is recuperating from critical septic shock, a severe form of sepsis in which the body overreacts to an infection. She expresses her gratitude to her Emily in Paris costar Paul Forman for remaining by her side throughout the ordea; a photo and video depicts the two holding hands and kissing though neither has previously commented on a romantic relationship. “You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know,” she writes, addressing Forman.
