The trailer for Ashley Judd's upcoming thriller Lazarus dropped. She plays Lee, an overprotective aunt who adopts her nieces and raises them in seclusion during a pandemic.
'I play Aunt Lee to two young women whom I’ve raised since infancy, in an old cabin, self sufficient & isolated in the deep woods,' she explained. Judd posted on Instagram May 2023 when production on the film completed saying Lazareth reminded her of her 1993 movie Ruby in Paradise because of its 'purity and simplicity' 'I play Aunt Lee to' two young women 'whom I’ve raised since infancy, in an old cabin, self sufficient & isolated in the deep woods,' she explained
