Ashlee Simpson reveals she never felt the 'need to be like' sister Jessica but says they've always been 'very close'
Ashlee Simpson has made her own way as a singer and actor, but the 39-year-old is often best known as Jessica Simpson's younger sister.
'At times there were moments, maybe it was on tour, I was like, (waves her hands) "Hey, look at me over here," but our relationship, as a whole, has always been very close,' she told listeners. Ashlee Simpson, 39, has opened up on her relationship with her older sister, Jessica, 43 (Pictured in Los Angeles February 4) Ashlee revealed on the Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilson & Olivia Allen podcast that she and Jessica were very different growing up but never felt she was in her sister's shadow.
