Ashanti opened up Wednesday about the meaning of the name of the newborn baby son she welcomed with husband Nelly, Kareem Kenkaide 'KK' Haynes. The singer of hits such as Foolish and Rock wit U (Awww Baby) said that 'it was such an electrifying feeling' as she became a parent for the first time, as she had 'a vision of this moment for so long.' The baby's middle name, Kareem, has Arabic origins and translates to 'generous, kind and dignified,' according to Ashanti, pictured in Washington, D.C. in March
