PETER HOSKIN: Asgard's Wrath 2 follows on directly from the original Asgard's Wrath, though, in other respects, the two games are worlds apart.
The answer, it turns out, is fight through the denizens of Norse and Egyptian mythology so as to prevent the trickster deity Loki from weaving his diabolical schemes through all of time. Whether you're swinging a sword or clambering up a wall, the physicality of the thing — how what's in your eyes matches what your body is doing — is stunning. It was acquired by Facebook as part of its Oculus Studios in 2020, going on to produce a glowing Asgard's Wrath sequel, released December 15, 2023
