As Wizards Of Waverly Place returns for a reboot 12 years on from last season, where are the original cast now?
Selena Gomez is set for a return to Wizards Of Waverly Place on the Disney Channel 11 years after the show last aired after a pilot for a rebooted version was commissioned.
Its return is set to pick up 'after a mysterious incident at WizTech, where an adult Justin Russo has left his wizard powers behind, opting for a normal, human life with his wife and two sons. Gomez started working in entertainment at age 10, appearing in the PBS children's show Barney & Friends from 2002 to 2004 before guest-starring on Disney Channel programs including The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Hannah Montana. He appeared in the 2016 film Pup Star and had a minor role in Unbroken: Path to Redemption - which tells the story of Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini - two years later.
