Apple's 'Matchbox' movie has tapped Arturo Castro for a supporting role alongside John Cena, we can exclusively reveal.
Producers include Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, and Robbie Brenner for Mattel Films, along with Jules Daly. The high standards of authenticity for Matchbox die-cast cars have driven the brand for over 70 years and generations of fans. Breaking out with roles on Narcos and Broad City, Castro is coming off a standout turn opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in Prime Video’s Road House remake, which earlier this year garnered the studio’s most-watched produced film debut worldwide, with over 50 million viewers in its first two weekends.
