Artem Chigvintsev ‘threatened to kill’ Strictly partner Fern Britton years before ‘domestic abuse’ arrest

Ex Strictly star Artem Chigvintsev was accused of threatening to "kill" a former dance partner years before his domestic violence arrest in California.

During her stint on the show, rumours swirled that the dance partners had fallen out after a comment Artem made about Fern’s weight. These allegations of harsh treatment during their rehearsals have gained new attention in light of Artem’s recent legal troubles. Responding to Fern’s allegations at the time, Artem insisted he treated her with “respect and genuine care” and did not recognise or recall the situations she described.
