Armie Hammer Sets Acting Return With Western ‘Frontier Crucible,’ First Film Since Sexual Assault Allegations

'Frontier Crucible' is Hammer's first acting gig since 2021, when his career was derailed due to sexual assault allegations.

The actor — who hasn’t acted in more than three years following sexual assault allegations that arose in 2021 — has landed a key role in upcoming Western “Frontier Crucible.” Thomas Jane (“Boogie Nights”) also stars, alongside Myles Clohessy (“The Pendragon Cycle”), Eli Brown (“Run Hide Fight”), Eddie Spears (“Yellowstone”) and Zane Holtz (“Hunter Killer”), singer-songwriter Jonah Kagen and newcomer Mary Stickley. Hammer shared photos from what appears to be the set of the film on his Instagram, with the caption: “Back in the saddle.”
