Armie Hammer likens scandal to kink-shaming, talks deluge of bad press and living in a 'tiny-ass apartment'

Armie Hammer, who has remained reclusive since sexual assault allegations in 2021, is opening up about his critics, his sexuality, and his life outside Hollywood.

"The world seemed like it was falling apart, and people were just deeply unhappy with their own lives," Hammer speculated on a recent episode of Christina Pazsitzy and Tom Segura's Your Mom’s House podcast. "If anyone took anyone's bedroom conversations — specifically if people were having a little bit of sexy time," he said, "and they took the s--- that they said, even if it was completely vanilla, and you read that somewhere else out of context, everyone's gonna go, 'You guys are f---ing disgusting.'" Now living in a self-described "tiny-ass apartment," Hammer went on to psychoanalyze his sex drive ("people were my bags of dope with skin on it"); speculate why the women he was involved with may not hold him in high esteem ("I would scoop these girls up, take them on a whirlwind month and a half... then I'm gonna bounce and go do it with someone else"); and ponder the legacy of his actions on his own family ("I also am well aware that my daughter and son are gonna get to a certain point where they do therapy and then go, 'I hate my dad, too'").
