Ariana Grande, Demi Moore and ‘The Substance’ Win Top Prizes at Dorian Film Awards


"The Substance," Demi Moore and Ariana Grande all took home major awards at the Dorian Film Awards selected by GALECA.

“ The Substance ” won big at the Dorian Film Awards, selected by GALECA, the Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, with Mubi taking home five prizes. In overall screenplay, Justin Kuritzkes won for writing the sports film “Challengers,” beating out Oscar-nominated favorites Sean Baker for “Anora” and Peter Straughan for “Conclave.” In the acting categories, which are not divided by gender, Demi Moore followed up her Golden Globe and Critics Choice wins with a lead performance victory against Mikey Madison for “Anora” and Adrien Brody for “The Brutalist.” She is also receiving the organization’s career achievement award for Timeless Star.
