A distorted snippet of an unidentified song — some fans are theorizing that it’s a tease of the album’s next radio single, “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” — plays in the background as the Grammy winner lounges in a Maison Margiela ensemble consisting of a white cotton bodysuit and a pair of red tulle gloves. Eternal Sunshine marks Grande’s seventh studio album and her first LP since 2020’s Positions, making this her longest gap between full-length releases. Inspired by the Oscar-winning Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Grande’s new record features contributions from Martin, Ilya, Oscar Görres and Nonna, Ariana’s grandmother.
