Ariana Grande Says It’s ‘Devastating’ to Hear Stories From Nickelodeon Abuse Survivors

Ariana Grande said it's been 'devastating' to hear people come forward with stories of abuse from their time as Nickelodeon child stars.

Grande touched on the subject in a new interview on the Podcrushed podcast (co-hosted by her recent “The Boy Is Mine” videoco-star, Penn Badgley). Grande did say that the “beautiful thing” that came out of her time on Nickelodeon was getting to work so closely with her friend and co-star Elizabeth Gillies. “Speaking specifically about our show, I think that was something that we were convinced was the cool thing about us, is that we pushed the envelope with our humor and the innuendos,” Grande said.
