Ariana Grande Returns to Host as Jelly Roll, Chappell Roan, Stevie Nicks & More Set as First ‘SNL’ Season 50 Musical Guests

Talent for the first five episodes for Saturday Night Live's 50th season were announced on Wednesday, with Ariana Grande returning as host on Oct. 12.

Stevie Nicks, Coldplay & Billie Eilish will also return as performers, while Jean Smart, Nate Bargatze, Michael Keaton & John Mulaney will host. The first episode of the landmark season on Sept. 28 will feature Emmy-winning Hacks star Jean Smart as host joined by first-time musical guest Jelly Roll. The NBC sketch comedy series is expected to pull out all the stops for its 50th season, after putting together a star-studded special for its 40th a decade ago.
