Grande referred to the 1998 sports comedy The Waterboy, a film directed by Fran Coraci and co-written by Tim Herlihy and Sandler. The film starred Sandler as Bobby Boucher, a 31-year-old man with autism who works as a waterboy and is recruited to play football.
