Following the film festival, the singer used her Instagram platform to express gratitude for being acknowledges for her acting chops in Wicked, Jonathan Chu's movie adaptation of the popular play. Actress Jennifer Coolidge — who famously made a cameo in her thank u, next music video — presented her with the award.
