Arcade Fire announce first run of 'Funeral' 20th anniversary shows


Arcade Fire have announced the first dates of a string of "limited number of" 'Funeral' 20th-anniversary shows.

The band – comprised of frontman Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara – took to their official Instagram account to reveal that they will be playing shows in celebration of their seminal 2004 debut LP. The following November, a fifth person came forward to accuse Butler of “emotionally abusive, manipulative, toxic” behaviour towards them, saying the musician used “his power dynamic to exploit my body at times that were convenient for him”. Other acts set to perform at he festival include Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Jungle, Overmono, Ezra Collective, Floating Points, Underworld, Noname, Khruangbin, JPEGMAFIA, Death From Above 1979, Alvvays, Los Bitchos, Parcels and more.
