Apple TV fans sent into a FRENZY over trailer for upcoming thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal - with his performance already being hailed as 'phenomenal'


The 43-year-old Zodiac actor - who is set to host SNL alongside popstar Sabrina Carpenter - is set to steal the show in the upcoming legal thriller, which will be released as a miniseries on June 12.

Thriller enthusiasts are counting down the days until new series Presumed Innocent, starring actor Jake Gyllenhaal, drops on Apple TV after the trailer had them hooked. Other A-listers among the star-studded cast include Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Nana Mensah, Peter Sarsgaard, Kingston Rumi Southwick and Elizabeth Marvel. The series is adapted from the 1987 novel of the same name by Scott Turow, which was also the basis of the 1990 film Presumed Innocent, starring Harrison Ford in the lead role and directed and co-written by Alan J. Pakula.
