Apple Launches Free Sports App In U.S., UK, Canada
Apple is pushing further into sports with its new Apple Sports app. Real-time scores, stats, and the ability to tap through to live games on Apple TV.
“Apple Sports is available for free in the App Store, and makes it easy for users to stay up to date with their favorite teams and leagues.” Additional leagues will become available over time, including MLB, NFL, NCAAF, NWSL, and WNBA for upcoming seasons. Fans can navigate between scores and upcoming games; explore play-by-play information, team stats, lineup details, and live betting odds.
