Apple Courts University of Connecticut Women’s Basketball Dynasty Series
The University of Connecticut (UConn) women’s basketball team – the most successful women’s program in the nation – has scored its own docuseries.
In 1985, the UConn women’s basketball program had one winning season in its history, but with the arrival of Auriemma as coach and an iconic collection of players, including Rebecca Lobo, Swin Cash, Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore, Tina Charles, Breanna Stewart, and No. It comes from directors Matthew Hamachek, who helmed Apple’s The Dynasty: New England Patriots series, and Erica Sashin, who exec produced and directed episodes of Netflix’s Harry & Meghan. “This series offers fans an exclusive view into 40 seasons of UConn women’s basketball, and I’m really excited for audiences to be able to see all the hard work that has built this program.”
