The family film, based on the 1930 novel by Arthur Ransome, was set in the Lake District and follows the story of the Walker children who spend a summer there, having adventures on their boat named Swallow. In an episode of the BBC One show that aired on 9 June, Sophie, who played Titty Walker in the film, came along to Lake Windermere to meet the antiques experts for a valuation - 50 years after she featured in Swallows and Amazons.
