Anthea Turner, 63, and her sister Wendy, 57, reveal their mum's tragic death led to their reconciliation after a major falling out

Anthea and Wendy Turner revealed what made their sisterhood stronger during an appearance on This Morning on Tuesday.

Discussing their latest children book Underneath the Underground: Further Tales, Anthea said proudly: 'It's so easy to work together because our point of reference are exactly the same. During her time as Blue Peter's host, Anthea delivered a now-iconic make recreating the famous Thunderbirds Tracy Island, considered one of the most difficult crafts in the show's history. Despite being a staple on the BBC for nearly seven decades, the channel has put production of the kids TV favourite out to tender in a bid to revive the shows fortunes.
