Anne Heche's Son Selling Her Assets Amid $4.1 Million in Claims

Anne Heche's son Homer Laffoon is attempting to sell the late star’s remaining assets in order to settle $4.1 million against her estate

According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Laffoon, 23, submitted a status update on Heche’s assets to court on March 21, to confirm the estate “is not yet in a condition to be closed” due to outstanding legal claims. Laffoon moved “tangible personal property” to a “ secure storage facility” and contracted a “well-respected company” to help facilitate sale of those assets, including Heche’s piano. As a result, Laffoon stated that the estate faces insolvency because “the anticipated value of the combined inventories and appraisals” do not come close to reaching the $4.1 million in outstanding legal claims.
