Anne Hathaway's 20th Anniversary Tribute to 'Princess Diaries 2' Includes a Shoutout for Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson's 'Breakaway' was prominently featured in 2004's 'The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement' starring Anne Hathaway.

On Wednesday, Anne Hathaway celebrated the 20th anniversary of The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement and Clarkson's "Breakaway," which was on the movie's soundtrack. Hathaway shared a clip of the "Breakaway" music video, in which Clarkson poses for the cameras on the red carpet of the world premiere of The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement before going into a movie theater to watch the film. Hathaway played Mia, a normal high school student whose paternal grandmother, Queen Clarisse (Andrews), informs her she's the Princess of Genovia.
