On Tuesday, around 400 union members at the media company began a 24-hour work stoppage to protest against widespread layoffs and negotiation practices they say are unlawful. It wasn’t until the 41-year-old actress sat down to get her hair and makeup done that a staff member at SAG-AFTRA informed her team to tell her to support the work stoppage. She pulled an Andy Sachs, her beloved character from The Devil Wears Prada, walked away, and stuck it to IRL Miranda Priestly, Anna Wintour!
