Another film adaptation of a Colleen Hoover bestseller is headed for the big screen and has landed its lead: Anne Hathaway will star in Verity, which will be developed by Amazon MGM Studios. Producers for the upcoming film include Eat the Cat’s Antosca and Alex Hedlund, Semi-Formal Productions’ Showalter and Jordana Mollick, Somewhere Pictures’ Hathaway, and Heartbones Entertainment’s Hoover and Shiny Penny Stacey Sher. According to Variety, Nick Antosca wrote the script after previous attempts by Hillary Seitz, Angela LaManna, and Will Honley and April Maguire.
