Anne Hathaway reveals why she gave up drinking as she reflects on her health journey over the last five years: 'I knew deep down it wasn't for me'

Anne Hathaway opened up about the decision to stop drinking in her candid interview with Vanity Fair for its April issue. 'I knew deep down it wasn't for me,' the Oscar winner admitted.

The 41-year-old Oscar winner — who also disclosed she suffered a miscarriage in 2015 during the interview — revealed that abstaining from alcohol was part of her personal health transformation over the last five years. She playfully shared amusing hangover anecdotes before disclosing, once again, her decision to abstain from alcohol until her young son had grown up and moved out of the house. Meanwhile, in her Vanity Fair interview, Hathaway revealed that she experienced a miscarriage in 2015, before eventually welcoming her first child with husband Adam Shulman in March 2016.
