But lurking in the shadows is a contestant with a dark history: the serial killer Rodney Alcala, who takes Sheryl on an alarmingly unsettling date in the first teaser for the film, out Oct. 18. When she offers to glance at it to double-check, he snaps: “You can’t repeat it from memory?” They’re locked into a chilling, silent standoff for a few seconds before her fight or flight instincts kick in, and she starts making her way to her car.
