The trilingual superstar is set to sing a medley of songs from her latest album, Funk Generation, which was released April 26. “Funk is ingrained in the culture of those who live in Brazilian favelas, where I come from, and has often been unfairly judged as lacking artistic value, even associated with organized crime,” Anitta previously said in a statement. For season 26, NBC confirmed on Monday during the upfronts in New York that Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé are joining the singing competition’s coaching panel.
