Animation Guild Seeks Enhanced California Subsidy to Combat Outsourcing

The Animation Guild issued a report Thursday arguing that enhancements are needed in the California tax credit to attract animation and VFX jobs.

In negotiations last year, the guild proposed eliminating the outsourcing clause in the contract, but the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers rejected the idea.
